Personalized Field Sessions

A three-hour private photography lesson held in Rhode Island or neighboring Massachusetts and Connecticut locations. You choose the setting and define your learning objectives. Together we explore light, composition, technical decisions, and creative intent in real time, and work intentionally on developing at least one new skill during our session.

Rather than simply giving instructions, I guide you through thoughtful questions that deepen your understanding and sharpen your awareness. The goal is not only stronger images that day, but greater clarity and confidence in how you approach photography long after the session ends.

This format is ideal for photographers who want uninterrupted focus, immediate feedback, and an immersive learning experience.

Small Group Workshops

In addition to private field sessions, I lead small group photography classes in Rhode Island through BlueHour Photo Ventures. These workshops offer a collaborative and cost-effective way to learn alongside other motivated photographers while still receiving hands-on instruction and feedback.

Nine workshops are scheduled for 2026.

One-on-One Consultations

Private photography consultations are available in one-hour sessions, either virtually or in person. These sessions are fully customized to your needs and can focus on equipment decisions, camera setup and configuration, editing workflow, creative direction, or developing greater intentionality in your work.

You are investing in focused, uninterrupted time to get clear answers and thoughtful guidance.
