The Level-Up Program

The Level-Up Program is a structured, immersive online photography workshop designed to accelerate your growth within a focused and intentional time frame.

This experience includes four intensive, week-long learning cycles spread over one to three months, adjusted to your schedule and capacity.

Each cycle includes:

  • A live instructional webinar

  • Assigned in-field shooting practice

  • A two-hour in-depth critique and review session

  • A one-hour “Ask Dave Anything” session

Online photography workshops should feel engaging, structured, and interactive. Whether you join a single online photography lesson or commit to the Level-Up Program, my goal is the same: to create a learning environment where you can ask questions, practice intentionally, and receive thoughtful critique in real time.

These online photography lessons are offered on an ongoing, rolling basis, allowing you to begin when you are ready and progress at a pace that fits your schedule. Each session is designed to build technical mastery while encouraging deeper artistic growth.

  • To participate in these online photography workshops, you will need either a DSLR or mirrorless camera and access to basic photo editing software. Adobe Lightroom Classic is used during instruction, though photographers using other editing platforms are welcome to follow along.

  • Critique is a central part of these photography lessons online. After each instructional session, you will complete a guided shooting assignment. During the review session, your images are discussed in depth, with practical feedback focused on composition, light, technical execution, and artistic development.

  • The Level-Up Program is a more immersive version of the online photography workshop experience.
